What to Do?
There is always lots to do in Branson…sometimes so much that it’s overwhelming and difficult to decide. But you probably didn’t come just to spend all your time in your Branson cabin, so we’ve picked a few unusual things that are happening this April and May.
Easter in Branson arrives in style with the opportunity to enjoy your Easter dinner aboard the impressive cruise liner ‘Landing Princess’. Enjoy turkey, ham and all the trimmings for $57 per person (regardless of age). Enjoy some truly spectacular views of Lake Taneycomo while you dine surrounded by family and friends on Easter Sunday. A perfect way to spend your day away from your cabin in Branson. You can also check out the famous Branson Showboat, the Branson Belle which cruises Table Rock Lake.
Taneycomo Throwdown at Don Gardner Park starts on April 21st and runs to the 23rd, a professional Disc Golf tournament for men, women and children of all ages looking to get in on the fun. With amateur and professional divisions, sanctioned by the Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA), this tournament will feature 2 rounds and is also acting as a fundraiser for the local OACAC chapter. One round of the game will be at the course in Sunset Park and the other at Don Gardner golf course in downtown Branson. Players will receive a t-shirt. A perfect way to spend a day in and around the city, even if you’re just watching.
Branson Farmers’ Market
Come check out the Branson Farmer’s Market Tuesday, April 25th for an afternoon wandering the various stalls offering everything from local farm fresh produce, meats, preserves, handicrafts, art, flowers and more. Make sure to try out some of the food stalls and wile away the hours in the sun. Free event for all ages, from 3-7pm each Tuesday until October. April 25th marks the start of the season. Pick up some home grown or homemade food to enjoy back at your cabin.
The Ozark Mountain Shindig Festival kicks off again from April 1st through to May 31st to celebrate all things Branson. Come see some great works of art, crafts and listen to some locally inspired music throughout the months of April and May with food vendors, musical acts and more. Always a good time.
